A lot of people have been waiting a long time for today. The game is simple, has depth, and amazing aesthetic style. It’s the most fun I’ve had with a FG yet.

Go Filia or Fortune, Filia has the high/low game that will fuck up Parasol close, Fortune can compete at mid and has a decent high/low close, plus all the head games and mobility options.

Valentine doesn’t benefit nearly as well from copter as Filia does, plus having something invincible can add some really cool shit for Bella.

I don’t much about Valentine. I know she has good pokes, her aerial approach is really good because her air dash moves her high up and allows her to call assists from near super jump height and come down with weapon pokes, her close range game can be tricky if you can learn how to effectively cancel her back dash into overheads, she has good options to punish grounded zoning tactics with Scalpel and Air Scalpel, good throw, bad defensive options where her only defensive move is the 2 super counter. She basically has everything except good defensive options and her floaty weight and large hit-box probably make her susceptible to more specific combos.
Valentine could work behind Cerecopter, but I don’t know what you would on defense without meter. Even with guard cancelling, to do anything you would need 2 meters. Also, Bella Titan Knuckle with the Valentine dash special as an assist (Surgical Bypass?) draws the opponent towards Bella for a combo , so that’s pretty good.

Valentine is a good point character that’s very mobile. My Bnb with her is (any magic series into c HP), j HP, air dash, mp x HP, land, j MK, QCF kk. My bnb might change soon though with the new patch, but the prior combo works. Her j. MP has great priority. j HK has a giant hitbox Also, her grab is amazing for resets. Great character to start with.
