He isn’t saying go play Street Fighter, he’s saying go play Skullgirls. The point is that people have played other games knowing there was an update coming, so why should this be different?
Oh wait, right… the post-SF generation doesn’t know how to adapt.
For people saying they can’t play because a patch is coming, you do realize that the fundamentals will still exist, right? Things like combo execution and specific assist related tactics are minor compared to spacing, zoning, mix-up, approach, proper defending (effective push block, punishing, alpha counters), air control and all the other shit I’m missing that will not change once the patch drops. Filia having access to a new combo doesn’t affect learning how she approaches, mixes up, pokes, moves or any other fundamental aspect of the character.
This patch is amazing, but it doesn’t stop you from playing & learning SG currently at all. Stop blowing it out of proportion.
That…is one of the only acceptable excuse for temporarily not playing SG. Now if only Sega would give me Shenmue 3…or at least hd remakes/versions or 1 and 2 =[
What om nom loops? Last time I checked the Fortunes furry little dome ends up on the other side of the screen. I think you’re just confused. Dont lose your head now [pokerFace]
his cr. mp is really fucking good, and his throw mixups are superb. one of the most ‘fun’ characters in ST, and is one of the only characters I ever think to switch away from Honda (only in casuals of course)
Finally had time to go to practice mode and practice -of course- some mix ups, cross ups, and combos (not piano recitals [looks at alex]). I never been one to remember a bunch of combinations. I prefer using smaller patterns to make bigger things, so I think I’ll stick to practicing smaller things at the moment.
But no, still no guitar. Which is why my name includes no guitars. None. Not a single guitar. There’s not even an “r”. And no, it’s not a Japanese pronunciation.
Whoa whoa whoa, I am not a part of the post-SF generation. I know how to play street fighter, but I stated I dont play street fighter and since i choose to not play it, i cant experience the relearning of combos between the tons of versions/updates of the game. And part of the reason I stopped playing SG too was because it is very difficult to find anyone online to play with and when i do find someone, they are the uber pro players that rape you in seconds. I cant get better if im getting body’ed too easily by them -__-
Message the guys who whip you and ask questions. If they aren’t complete asses, they will help you out. Also, matchmaking thread is decent for getting matches in.
I enjoy how easy it feels to cross up with his j.MK. And I enjoy the combo options he has off of a cross up. I’ve never really played a charge character before, but I still really enjoy him. I should jump on GGPO at some point and get bodied so I can learn shit.
I love that he can combo into a HP Max Out from s.LK. Is his super mostly for projectile punishes?
