Can’t bring myself to spend money on a game like Journey. The gameplay is basically the scenery, if I understand it correctly. Every time I see it played, it’s just a continuous run through a desert.
You have to play the whole thing to actually get the point. It’s an art game (it’s made by thatgamecompany) but it’s actually a good one and I’m usually pretty critical of them.
No, I haven’t even bought it. But I tend to not play games which I can’t play with my friends.

there was an arcade I was in…it had 3 floors, and and 2 underground floors:
1st floor the main floor had the new popular games
2nd floor had the old Capcom and SNK games from way back
3rd floor had the 3D fighters like Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Dead Or Alive
the first underground floor had BlazBlue, Arcana Heart, Melty Blood and those other “doujin” games (um, couldn’t really think of a better term but hey it fits, lol)
and the second underground floor just had Guilty Gear and ONLY Guilty Gear

Watching a game played fucks up the experience of playing the game? It’s not like there were spoilers, cause as far as I can tell, there’s no story either.

all i will say is that its a really cool experiment in communication. its only like a 2 hour or so game.
Journey is one of those games I’ll buy when it’s on sale. My friend brought the game and it’s not something I see myself paying full price for.
Journey is well worth the fucking full price.

EDIT: Actually scratch that, the disc version of all 3 thatgamecompany’s games is coming out soon. Wait for that and buy it.
