Melee tourney (Genesis) might have Skullgirls tournament (go to it and support it if that’s in your area please, it would be rude to turn that down)
Lots of non-competitive fans donating to SG at EVO + Charity
SG fans put their money where their mouth is, proving the love and passion and user support is there
A lot of exposure by sharing links and etc.
And all this fucking money for charity, which is the entire point and still donate towards because that’s the main point (please don’t break the bank, that would silly to put yourself in a bad situation)
When this is over, win or lose, remember to support your smaller and local events and bring a SG setup if they need/want one

Well, SG wasn’t going to get into Evo main stage based on the strength of its community at this point.
If only we lived in an ideal world where SFxT got dropped and we could have both SG and Melee. Am I right? Maybe if it’s still terribad after the patch this month?

OK. This is how it goes. We as a community are either strong enough to live without EVO mainstage boost or not. And if latter is the case then I’m not sure that said boost will do us any good. So I’d say our main goal should be to steadily create sturdy community without relaying on one-shot occasions like this either then trying to go all-or-nothing on this one thing. That being said we should do everything we can to gain this spot but considering it as pivotal point just isn’t right thing to do. We should look at it like it’s one battle. Pretty big one, yes, but not deciding. The war will not over with EVO regardless of us taking that main spot or not. EVO will end but life will not. Think about it guys and don’t overreact.
