Don’t know if this was asked or not, but how will counter hits be like?
Will some moves have different properties when there is a CH?
Also, will they just add extra damage to the move that was used or reverse proration entirely?
How will they affect untech time as well?
^Except for grabs, which can’t be teched on counter, counter hits don’t do anything.

On the subject of ‘mashing’, could you rip the timing of button presses to my opponent’s combo from Melty Blood to reduce damage? I really love that mechanic because it keeps you playing the entire match. Most games have you sit and wait for your opponent’s combo to finish (or for them to drop it) before you can counter act but this mechanic keeps you ‘playing’ even when you’re ‘not’ and it creates ALOT of nail biting comeback situations that would have otherwise been a regular round. For the record, it’s not mashing either, it’s literally timing the button presses to that of your opponent’s combo.
Just throwing that out there.
Wait, counterhits don’t do anything? That seems a bit weird, but since it’s more of a chain combo game I guess it doesn’t matter that much.
I highly doubt that Melty Blood mechanic will be in there

It’s less of a SkullGirls meme and more of a Mike Zaimont meme.
It comes from a guide he did on Tager in which he used a Russian accent during the entire thing.
soviet because iron tager was red and was nicknamed the red devil in blazblue.
As an enthusiastic fan, I wish there were a way to spam Reverge people with suggestions for stuff the combo meter could say… but… HOW?
Skulltastic and Real Soviet Damage would be cool. As would standard words like unbelievable, crazy, unfathomable, amazing, etc.
Edit: Also what would be really interesting is if the adjectives weren’t just based on amount of hits, but other stuff too, like damage output or number of projectile hits, based on which characters are fighting, or whatever.
Speaking of Combo Shoutouts, one that made me really laugh is the “Dude” one in MvC3
Oh god I hope I can preform a ‘dude’ combo in SG.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has some of the best combo shout outs, ones like “Attractive!” and “Stop!”
I can’t wait to see what Skull Girls can cook up should they chose to have them in the game.
Alright guys, after looking over the last GD thread, I’ve realized that it could use a little bit more organization.
