Play a certain amount of versus matches, finish arcade mode, and finish story mode are the ways I know for 7-9, anyone figure out 10?
DustLoop is kind of… self-inclusive in a way, not a bad place to get info, but god help you if you post the wrong thing. And I don’t get the BlazBlue hate, I mean, come on guys, it’s not like it’s SSFIV:AE or anything… xD
And tbh, I think the newest iteration (BBCS:EX) has the best balancing of the whole series so far, though CS2 wasn’t bad, CT and the original CS were laughable (especially Nu/Rach/Ara and Bang/Litchi/Haz respectively)
I did Valentine’s, and she didn’t go creepy till she fought Double or the final boss. She did produce the Icon I have in the 3rd battle though.

Do you think it has to be solo play to count? I’ve been doing a lot of 2/3 teams instead of solo’s so that might explain it…

I don’t get the hate on any of them, I play every FG I can get my hands on for the most part. I have some that I enjoy more than others but I’ve never really looked down on a specific game or the people that play them(AH3 was a tad into the spectrum of ‘too weeaboo’ for me but that was just aesthetic opinion). BB has its faults, but it does things way better than many other games, and let us not forget that without the existence of BB we’d be lacking a major influence for Skullgirls, both in gameplay elements and concepts regarding accessibility that Capcom has never, ever grasped.
Dustloop is not any different from SRK, or any other message board ever in the history of the internet. It has useful information, it has nice people who will answer questions, it has trolls, and it has hipsters who act like they’re better than you because you weren’t the first person to play the original Taiwanese bootleg version of the game or whatever the hell, it has people who type like an autistic T-Rex and come in like HOW I SHOT XBAX MENU PLZ HALP, and it has people who will rage on you for disagreeing with them, agreeing with them, or not expressing an opinion one way or another simply because they think it’s cool to talk down to people on the internet. There’s probably vB boards for competitive sweater-knitting or some crap that are exactly the same out there.
Loosely related, I’m fairly certain that as the game picks up steam we’ll see a subforum, but only the admins know how much traffic the section is seeing and if expansion is warranted, just because we have 30 posters spamming the ever-living shit out of a section doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a large percentage of the overall makeup of SRK, it just seems like it at the moment because a fantastic game just launched and all of us are like HOLY FUCKING SHIT LET’S TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING.
