Is there ever going to be a way to view your own ranking? Even if you hide it in an obscure menu somewhere, it would be a nice gauge of skill and improvement.
Also, because I’m too lazy to look through every page, is there going to be UI modifications for online mode in the future? Particularly seeing someone’s gamertag/name and tier below their HP bar.
Hey Mike or Ravid. Just wanted to drop a note about the character guides on the site: For Painwheel, the motion itself (qcf) is missing for her Buer Thresher super on the PS3 pdf.
I’d say that they would be usable in every mode as most of these characters already have their own stories and stuff, don’t see why they wouldn’t go through and add them into story mode.
That was due to them not having ending cutscenes made up for the end of Arcade Mode iirc. Skullgirls wont have that problem (with Arcade Mode at least, Story Mode might be a different story, but the Story modes in this game are rather short so it could be reasonable that they get story modes too).
I’m slowly growing an appreciation for Boss Marie. Mainly because every thing said about her being a powerful beast unlike anything else is actually true, she is unlike anything else. I thought you were being figurative, not literal.
Curious, why not? Seems like a reasonably popular 2D fighter and I don’t know of any SRK quality forums for it. Then again, its been ages since I’ve looked at Dustloop.
Whatever a “main game” on SRK means. The purpose of sub-boards is to prevent convolution of different information in one place. I’m noticing that with this board; the character specific threads make it hard to focus in on combos, videos, etc. If the same thing happens with KoF or BlazBlue, then yes they should probably have sub-boards as well. I don’t play play those games or visit the forum so I wouldn’t know about activity.
Tried the game just before Continuum Shift landed and didn’t quite fancy it, so on that basis I agree, but otherwise – if its popular I say it deserves a full forum. That’s just me being Equal Opportunity Rob, though.
I think Skullgirls could do well with it’s own sub boards. It’s popularity is exploding, it’s getting just what Cerebella wanted(rave reviews), and it’s a very good competitive fighting game.
