It’s not immediately apparent due to how she’s drawn, but her face eyes are just eye holes. It doesn’t seem like she can see out of them.
That said, she must have a really weird field of vision the way she swings those eyes around everywhere. .- .
As for story… Skullgirls seems pretty straightforward so far, which looks promising. I love “what if” scenarios as long as they are distinct from the canon timeline, though. Aren’t the Arcade modes going to be those anyway though?
Peacock has more personality and character to her then the entireity of BB’s generic visual novel drivel anyway, I would be thrilled to see what retarded reasons they come up with for her to fight.
I don’t think it was that convoluted once you understood the overall storyline, each alternate ending wasn’t the true story, but a potential outcome of the loop, while the ‘true’ endings were canonical. In the end(well, up to where CS2 left off) everyone did fit in to the overall story properly when taking the ‘true’ endings into consideration. What they did wrong was not giving any explanation of the overall setting of the story with the time loop, so if you just picked up the game and didn’t realize it was a loop branching into many possible divergent outcomes based on actions of the cast you had no fucking clue what was going on and it just seemed random.
Just realized, did anyone else find it odd that Valentine was the only character that did not get her story presented (at least not in the same way as the other 6 characters) IT’S A CONSPIRACY dons tin-foil hat
My favorite part about the story mode is that I didn’t even know it existed. I assumed that story mode would just be some arcade endings and beginnings. I forgot that Reverge Labs is far better than that.
Some of the best entertainment I’ve ever seen is very simple. John Carpenter’s The Thing is an example of beauty in simplicity; the entire movie is fairly easy to understand, and the ambiguous parts are ambiguous, not confusing. But that’s a movie.
The problem with television is that shows with plots often will develop new plot points without fully resolving old ones, and this keeps going on and on because of the length. It’s not exclusive to anime either, as any Twin Peaks fan would know.
Hmm. I agree, I guess I worded things wrong. The end result eventually does make sense, but everything in between is so vague and convoluted that it just puts people off from understanding the ending. Melty Blood has the same problem.
I’m afraid I disagree with the character, though. Despite every single scenario in the game, the only characters who TRULY matter are Noel, Jin, Ragna, Rachel, Hazama and Mu-12. Everyone else is just…there.
That tadpole girl looks sooooooo adorable! <3_<3
I want her for DLC! I WANT IT! I’ll pay double, triple, a full retail price! Just for her! Cute, cute! =3
That was absolutely worth the wait. I love what I saw of the story mode and that intro was freaking awesome. So glad I finally caught up on my bills, because I am buying me everyone of those posters I can fit in my computer room.
Best part is I think this is the perfect vid to show to friends that have been on the fence about picking up the game. It shows enough of everything and some freaking gorgeous artwork to show what to expect of the game as a whole. Awesome job, guys.
