People just like to copy/repost clips to get those viewer numbers higher I guess (gotta have those numbers!). It’s like when a movie is being released to purchase, and a similar movie with similar title and concept is “coincidentally” released around the same time. Just people trying to ride the coat tails of success and awesomeness. I don’t think they realize they are just flooding the internet/market with redundant and unnecessary crap x.x. Would be nice if someone cracked down on that sort of thing over at youtube.
Oh, yes, according to Ravid, there will be a Skullgirls-themed video on Machinima in the “first half” of this week. And, no, he was not referring to that Fighterpedia music video.
Watch. Her name will be Lunch but it will have been decided years ago and it will be a total coincidence.
Only thing worth mentioning is the stroy mode trailer. It actually reminds me of Little Big Planet 2’s story mode trailer. In the sense that it sparks great intrest in a part of a game that most people would probably not care about. Both very fun to watch.
I think I’m slow, because I only just now found out how Lunch would be funny.

There was that nun-like figure standing over Valentine with Marie near the end of the trailer… I hadn’t even thought about that.
wait, are we sure that statue and stain glass window depict double and not Nancy? Because I think a mark of the skullgirl is having a skull fragment on your face, the way Bloody marie does.
Also, I’m now wondering how Venus Lovelace plays into the story, she must be a significant character in the history of the story.

IIRC it’s the skull-eyes that are the mark, doesn’t necessarily have to be the face…
What I wonder is though… So Double pretty clearly seems like a very old being if she’s a figure to be worshipped. But Venus looks like she’s probably in, what, her twenties? Unless she’s got some kind of anti-aging immortality thing going on, then it strikes me as odd that Venus would be depicted on a window in a church. Hmm
