I don’t want to give him the attention, but someone is convinced that the controller patch completely changed everything about the game. Like Valentine’s move speed, AI, etc.
None of that happened, and he’s convinced it did. Mike tried to correct him, and he now thinks we said he was “lying” and is doubling down.
NOTHING has changed since launch, but he’s convinced it has.
He also said overall damage nerf when it’s just most of Bella’s Hard attacks.

I do have other stuff although that was honestly the easiest thing to do. Nothing that I’ve found recently is being fixed, but then again nothing that I’ve found recently is inherently broken or overpowered, so that’s good.
And holy shit, this guy knows how to use assists SOMETIMES.
That update came out a week after launch, and he just got it today. So he hasn’t played the game in… a month? And clearly didn’t play it much to begin with.
…But it’s impossible that he might be misremembering something! Everyone is crazy but him! And we’re just trying to cover it up.

wouldn’t everyone be able to get out of it super easy? every character can hit Nazi out of the startup of the overhead, and the assist has two frames of vulnerability…
I was lead designer on another project we were pitching, but I’m not doing anything on that at the moment.
Right now I’m writing the first DLC character’s story mode, and helping out with art production coordination stuff. Also trying to get the official forums going, but that has had to take a backseat to everything else.
Any plans for tf2 hats for the eventual steam release?

We mentioned this to Steam when we met with them at GDC, and they said they don’t really do that themselves any more, and they’re transitioning that kind of promotional stuff to DOTA2.
They still have hats, but as I understand it, it’s more of a community-driven thing than a promotional one. So… if someone wanted to make Skullgirls hats and coordinate a voting campaign for them, we certainly wouldn’t object, but… there doesn’t seem to be anything we can actually do ourselves to make it happen.
I believe we’ll be using Steamworks for copy protection only, so I don’t think that would apply here.
I’m pushing for a launch bundle, though!
I wouldn’t mind Dota2 SG related items and accessories though
I believe they said they already asked Valve, but Valve claimed that they didn’t do promos like that anymore.
