I am somewhat upset you can’t head call after rekkas in the new patch. Though I never get around to fully using that so it’s not like I’m going to be losing a large part of my game.

Here’s the thing I’m personally curious about:

MikeZ just said on UltraChen TV that aerial command normals count as the same button for standing, crouching, and grounded command normals for the IPS. Why is this the case? Because, in this new IPS, aerial normals count as a separate button, so why aren’t aerial command normals?

I think he meant that air command normals and regular air normals will count the same (he demonstrated it with Parasoul’s stomp and j. MK)

I’m curious to see how the IPS change will affect Peacock. Other than corner loops she doesn’t really seem to use fancy combos to get damage, so it seems like her damage will stay more or less the same while everyone else will theoretically see less damaging combos across the board.

You can remove the head from the 2nd rekka, but if the head is off she can’t do the head call anymore.

I was surprised at the cerebella damage nerf, I’m guessing it’s because her damage comes from fewer hits generally, so it could be put in her favour with the new IPS. That and the corner combos.

buttslam change is no longer as cool for painwheel/double players. Them being lifted off the ground is how I could do certain pressures from higher up and do mk fly cancel mk to bring them to the ground to save my otg. Im not sure how that is gonna effect me, that also affects dhc off buttslam into super. This effect double way more than the invincibility, for my team atleast.
