Seriously, I do this to myself in every game.
Every character I play has shitty wakeup, it’s fucking annoying.

AC -> Ultimate Showstopper is really good on defense with that Para/Bella team. Also, lol @ Age. Nigga stole my sig. >_<
I’m probably still sticking to this team, but still aiming for a runaway / keepaway team.
I do Cock / Monster / Nazi though.
Can’t sit there and read 17 hundred words. Same problem we had before. If you could… somehow… split your argument into smaller sections. Bite sized chunks. I’d actually love to continue this, but I just can’t do it bruh.
I know what dime means (at least about PW).
By frame data alone Painwheel s.HP xx fly is neutral, which in theory means an opportunity for a mixup or frame trap. However, in truly neutral game both characters can block, which isn’t the case when she’s flying. With her slow aerial normals, many grounded normals beat her out. By the time she’s actually in equally neutral she’s actually minus because the only way to get out of flight is whiffing or hitting one of her aerial normals. Additionally, against reversal supers all she can do is try to do her air super to use the invincibility (which is shorter in the patch).
There. Short and to the point.
Shh, you don’t have to bring that back up. It’s understood now, move along plox.
Next step is what to do after flight cancel, if it even continues.
I wish I knew what all of this meant. I’m new to fighting games and I really like this one but geez all of this means nothing to me…
Don’t try to take it all in at once. Keep playing, ask questions and you’ll learn most of this organically.
Chances are you’re already doing it and just don’t know that there’s jargon for what you’re doing.
I would kind of agree on that…its a gimmick though and only works once, and does nothing for dealing with arial pressure, which is the problem the team has in the first place.
The problem is once someone is in, Nazi gets blown up by high/lows because she has to be holding down for her reversal. The bella/Nazi side of things has good defense, but if Nazi gets snapped in you’re in trouble
It’s all good. Everyone started at square 1, even if they don’t remember.
Hmm…So is there any way for me to up my reflexes to god status? Because at the moment I’m more akin to a drunken sloth. Which I’ve been told is not conducive to playing fighting games.
I’m in love with that pic. looks like my kitten. The one who loves pants and tries to de-tile my bathroom.
Its all just muscele memory, so just play a whole ton more with the attitude of being ready to lose and learn.
Once the new training mode is up there will be specific drills you can run in order to specifically help your reactions
Practice, practice and more practice.
awesome. Looks like I’ll be waiting a while though since I’m on 360 AND I just lost my internet connection for some reason(trying to sort that out)
99% of FG reflexes aren’t actual reflexes but guesses and/or expectations - if you really really think someone is going to do X, it will be far easier to counter it than if it catches you by surprise.
To get that, you have to play more, there’s really no way around it. You have to know what your opponent is going to do at which point, and how to punish it - and only practice helps here.
thanks for the tips guys, I’m new here but you’ll probably see me a little more often now. I’ve always been more of a lurker though. Gotta go.
Yo. I better see you asking questions in the Cerebella thread. Eventually, you could even answer questions (wouldnt take too long, we’ve only had the game for a few months).
unfortunately this is something mostly set by genetics, my reactions are horribly slow and it does affect my ability. you need to become good at prediction
You can get a better reaction time if you know what to look for.
