Uuuuuuuuuugh Painwheel on Painwheel violence. A part of me is glad they stopped streaming so I don’t have to watch myself play crappily D: .

So…what does everyone think is a good second character for a Parasoul player who prefers offense. I have been using Parasoul, Fillia, and Valentine since release day, but I have proven myself terrible with Fillia and Valentine over and over again…

Double with hornet bomber.

painwheel/cerebella/double all offer good options for offensive play

painwheel cr.MP is amazing
cerebella has cerecopter, excellabella to prevent jumpouts, and merry go-rilla
double is double

I will look into Cerebella or Painwheel for now. Maybe Double after I’ve learned more about the other two.

heh i don’t know if painwheel can, that’s why i use it.
what’s SUPPOSED to happen is I then dhc into catheads to keep safe, but for some reason it wasn’t coming out :confused:

Bella makes a great duo with Parasoul. Bike is probably the best assist for Bella (and it helps negate her worst matchup) and Copter is potentially the best assist for Para(maybe after double butt?)

personally, i think its all matchup dependent.

some matches copter is the best, some matches butt, and even then, some matches i find mk or lk butt more useful then hk butt.

so just put both on your team :slight_smile: then all of your options are pretty well covered.

So, I don’t know who else knows this, but if you call an assist during a combo and it whiffs, you can call it again during a combo. There’s no usefulness to this really, you can gain a little bit of extra meter.

I tried it with Parasoul’s Napalm Toss to see if she could do multiple ones during a combo, but if the explosion ever hits the opponent she can’t be called out again.

so if you have a command grab assist, does that mean you can always get that free tiny bit of meter?

Yup, as long as it whiffs, you could call it 4 or 5 times during a combo to get extra meter.

welp building a troll team that has a command grab assist in it now.

Parasoul RC assist can be called really quickly because it has like no lag time(since that’s the nature of the move.) I noticed this while using it as a taunt assist lol. Meter build assist lol?

I don’t think she build meter on her RC assist, and from what I just tested Excellebella doesn’t build meter when whiffed.

The best one I found so far is Filia’s HP Ringlet Spike, I was able to call about 7 during a Painwheel combo.

It’s not very good, since whiffed specials build pathetic meter. All you’re going to get is about 10% extra meter. While that seems okay, you normally have to use a crappy assist to make them whiff.

What about peacock teleport? That could make an interesting alpha counter at least.

It’d work, but it messes up corner combos because she always pushes them out of the corner. You could do the LK version, but that wouldn’t be very affective.

Ringlet Spike is still the best one I’ve come across.

Has anyone felt hopefull in how Marie gained a portrait that resembles a selectable character?
