We played berrics rules and it seemed to work pretty good. If not everyone would be doing stupid random shit.
This might be a stretch, but do you think we could put together an SRK skate vid?
It could work, but there would be a lot of hurdles (filmers w/different filming equipment would be the main one)
That would be awesome man. I think we can get it to work, it shouldn’t be that hard. As long each one of us got a decent camera then we should be good.
like a 3-5 minute montage would be cool.
if it would stop raining here so i could actually go skating, i think i could film a trick or two
I’m down for sure.
lol nahhh,
i do it in the air.
i wouldnt count free style stuff in skate haha.
or stuff that you do involving your feet on the ground instead of the board.
hmm, ill start skating again, id probably get the trick down in like 10 minutes or so.
ill try to film it if i get it down haha
Torey Pudwill and Peter Ramondetta advance.
The match I’m hype as hell for right now is Lucas Puig vs Greg Lutzka.
Lucas has been one of my favorite Skaters for a minute now. Of course everybody knows about Greg Lutzka.
biolink, where do you usually skate at? wilson, burnham or some surburban park? also do you remember the magic of chiskate.com? haha
I’m usually over at Burnham or the Skate Plaza since they are both right on the lake.
Everytime I go to Wilson I feel like I’m going to be molested. That place is PACKED in the Summer. Seriously. 3 or so Skateparks in the 3rd largest city in America isn’t enough to accommodate all the Skaters. If I was good enough, I wouldn’t even Skate at the parks. Chicago downtown has some sick spots.
Burnham is never packed. At the most I’ve probably ever seen like 12 or so people in there at one time
It wouldn’t be a problem if I wasn’t still in the learning phase. I could go to Wilson if I wanted, but I probably wouldn’t get shit accomplished.
There’s also a newer Skatepark over on Western right under a highway or something. Haven’t been there yet, but I heard it was a nice park.
Unfortunately I don’t remember chiskate.com. I wasn’t involved in the scene at that time.
Did you do Chicago Skate day? Where are you usually skating at?
lol, here I am gearin’ up for gettin’ down. shit feels awkward after not being on it for 2 years or so. np though, I’m sure it’ll come back in no time.

I like your steeze. lol
the magic of chiskate.com is something that can never be recreated. the new park in logan square is decent, not concrete but truride ramps with a fun layout.
im usually at roselle park in the suburbs its a great concrete park that is super smooth and has a lot of different stuff to skate.
wilson is definitely not the place to learn, transitions have weird bumps or are super tight and some of the street course is weird. burnham is WAYYYY better.
if you ever are out in the burbs to go to gameworks for some sfiv, come out to roselle park beforehand. its seriously down the street from gameworks and a great park.
edit:
check out skateillinois.com for videos and pictures of some of the guys i skate with. also its a generally sick site.
How far is Bartlett out from Chicago and where you Skate at?
bartlett is like an hour out from chicago and i usually skate roselle skatepark. like i said roselle park is really close to the gameworks in schaumburg that has the SFIV cabinet now.
That’s sick as fuck dude.
I hadn’t heard about the Gameworks cabinet. I pretty much only know of Nickels arcade in Northbrook
Does Schaumburg have like a Metra or anything, or is it only accessible by car
EDIT
Actually, I didn’t even know Schaumburg was in Cook County, but upon doing research, it seems that I can reach it. I assumed it was in like Kane County or inbetween Dekalb or something
Something that’s been bugging the hell outta me lately >_<
Mystery Hood Skater X.
You know it’s rare that people in the Hood Skateboard.
Yesterday, I’m playing the game late at night, I hear an undeniable sound of a board moving. I ignore it and continue the game.
This afternoon, I grab my board ready to go outside and practice, and just as I walk outside Mystery Skater X rides by and does a kickflip. I’m too far to motion for him to come over, so I am let down.
I gotta meet up with this guy. Finally I’m not alone
I just got a skate park membership in Burbank. 20 bucks and you’re good for a year.
Burbank Cali or Burbank Illi?
so, been watchin that Mike Mo’ 720 flip vid constantly. Is anyone landing those consistently or what? Please note the last vid I watched was Lakai’s Fully Flared. any others I should be peepin?
I’m sure there’s somebody that can land 720’s consistently, given the right amount of speed.
As for videos;
Alien Workshop: Mindfield- SICK SICK SICK editing. They use 90’s cameras and the whole thing is just stylish.
I’d also peep the latest Nike SB video(You probably can get it for free on the Nike SB website) first HD skate video ever.
There’s an Adidas SB Euro video that just came out as well, and overall it has sicker parts than the SB video.
I’m sure there are smaller indie skate videos that are getting hype, but those are basically the only 3 I’ve head about.
Prod’s new movie, Street Dreams has skating in it, and it’s Rated R. Still want to see it.
