This is awful. Compassion and law? There’s nothing compassionate about how they ended DACA. Obama put that there as a stopgap to help children who were brought here and only know America. They were given a chance to hold up in America until Congress got their shit together and how dare the American government bait and switch them like that. This is a massive asshole move by Trump and there’s no other way to see it unless you’re a blindly xenophobic twat.

What makes this worse is that hundreds of thousands of people VOLUNTARILY gave their critical info to the U.S. government trustingly and they were betrayed. Now they can be rounded up and thrown into an abyss where they have zero knowledge of how to live because all they really know is America.

I have hopes that the courts stop this, since their is precedent with bait & switch government tomfoolery already on the books. But again this is just a waste of time from a mine who has shown he doesn’t want to lead so much as just be spiteful of anything Obama has touched.
