Simple question

Sorry if this question is to easy but how do I taunt in CvS2 Dreamcast version? Been playing it for a while but never figured this out. My understanding is to press Start + LK but whenever I press start I pause the game.

Hold LK and push Start. You can also kara-cancel it by pushing (and holding LK) then pushing Start immediately after.
