Feng Shui is Chinese. I don’t get why Juri, a Korean fighter, would get a move called Feng Shui Engine.
It doesn’t really matter, but I was curious if anyone knew the reasoning/story behind the name. :tup:

Feng Shui engine is a weapon designed by Seth and the SIN. They protoyped it and implanted into Juri’s eye. She did not make up the move. Why they call it Feng Shui engine is another matter though.
Clearly she didn’t name the move (both in and out of the game). I’m more asking what Capcom’s reasoning is behind it. Not the fictitious characters. Maybe a Chinese scientist or something. My mind was wandering and it hit me. Just curious.

The teachings of Feng Shui are intended to improve one’s life through the channeling of positive ki.
The teachings of Tanden are intended to improve one’s life through proper meditation and higher thinking.
The names are appropriate given what the engines actually do for their users. The country of origin has nothing to do with it.
