SBO Qualifiers have not yet been announced but they will be a completely seperate event from Showdown Championships, stay tuned for the official announcement.

People love to whine and complain, but at least Showdown is making an effort to differentiate their tournament from others by making it this team format, and teaming up with an anime convention.

If you think about it, EC usually is favored in EC Majors with MvC2, WC with 3s, and Evo favors US players with consoles. TX actually has a lot less of a home field advantage since they have to compete with Japan on japanese cabs on a japanese game. I’m not sure thats something to really cry foul over.

Any money matches? AKA marvel? I do stipulations as last year. So whats good?
Where would money matches happen? The tournament room? Because the “ninja room” or whatever for casuals specifically states that no money matches can occur.
The Japanese are coming to this?
