This is a smoke bomb. You are not taking responsibility for anything, you are using vague rhetorical arguments and shifting the blame to everyone BUT you. First you insinuated that its the fault of the players for not contacting you (lies), then attempted to discredit their intermediary who is further trying to reach out to you (sad).

Having no choice but to make sure every detail was taken care of, is completely and explicitly your responsibility, how are you going to use that as an excuse like its oh-so-hard to gather information and send it around? Do you communicate via courier pigeon?

So what is the deal? Will you pick one or two little points out of my post and try to refute them and then claim your point has been made. For example, “Seth is in charge of paying them so not being in charge has nothing to do with it.”

What you’re talking about is none of your business, its mine. So let me take care of it. While I’m doing that you could campaign some more. Doesnt affect me or my business in anyway.
The 2008 event has 3 times the sponsors of last year, (you shouldnt care about that cos you’re not attending) and thats how its gonna be for years to come. Dont you think a year’s wait is worth security for the next 5(for all my customers)? If i’m not working hard and not doing my job right as you say, all these things must have magically manifested themselves.

As I’m sure we all expected, you replied without actually answering anything. You’ve done nothing but evade questions, which is why no one trusts you or your business. The best thing you could do right now is provide detailed reasons as to why these people haven’t been paid yet, which is exactly what Seth did. It’s called diffusing a negative situation, a common means for a business owner to regain the trust of their customers.
Sorry if this will come as a surprise to you. This forum isnt my main source of business. I dont have to explain anything to anyone on here. I could have 2 supporters out of the 50 thousand people here, thats enough for me.
In return for this forum letting me market my business on here, I support it back by constantly buying premium membership.
99.9% of the people who know me personally and have done business with me have been satisfied. It’s common sense that I work very hard to make sure my businesses prosper.
As far as trust, it will come with time…and I’m patient. PZ isnt going anywhere and will continue to support the fighting game community (which exists beyond the forums). Whether we have to take the responsibility to market and promote new games like Blazblue or Basara X and create a new following, we will do so.
Even SF4 which is launches Q4 2008/Q1 2009… and will probably cost a fortune will generate brand new community (in addition to the following it already has). PZ will provide the opportunity for our supporters to experience it. They trust us to support them and we do.

Yes but now its becoming my business. You dont get to not pay players and then advertise the same tournament a year later. It doesnt fly.
If you can prove you are either in the process of paying players or have actually done so, maybe ill leave this thread open, but until that happens, you can pm me if you have any questions.
