wonder why people want more characters, its not as if people play the ones available already. sheesh just play the game as it is already.

I don’t understand why everyone is asking for more characters when half the roster isn’t used already?
They would be a waste of money unless capcom made that character over powered and then everyone would complain for a another update. Everyone wanted 3s characters and how many people actually use them? Yun, Ibuki, Makoto are good chars but they barely get players online or by top players. Where are the players who wanted e ryu, dudley, deejay, yang and thawk? Newer characters like Hakan and Juri are good as well but they are pretty much ignored. No one gives a damn about new characters being added unless those they add are op to all hell.

I’m glad SFIV’s roster got to the size it did; vanilla felt stale quick. The only character left I’d really like to see added is Alex, though I’d actually rather see Cody’s stupid purple suit replaced with this.
People want to fight against Elena, Karin, Alex and Hugo with Akuma or Ryu
There is no use for new characters because all I see is Ryu, M. Bison, and Zangief. If they add more I wouldn’t get mad but, if another grappler is added, I’m just going to flip a table. Hugo would just ruin the game. I can literally see the stupid frames Hugo would have.
All you see is Ryu, Dictator and Zangief? What? I see Viper, Ken, Akuma, Cammy, Yun, Fei Long, Chun-Li, Rufus and Sagat all the time.
Hugo would get murdered so badly in this game. At least in SFxT the other character can get in for him but in this game…
All I see on PC is Dudley, Ryu, Guile and Oni.
There are 39 characters, but only 9 (less than 1/4) are brand new SFIV characters…the rest are from previous Street fighter games. Think about that for a second. That is kind of disappointing honestly. If any characters are going to be added, it needs to be brand new ones not more characters from previous games.
And of the 9 new characters, 4 are retarded, 2 new shoto test drives, and 3 interesting. Strong quota :looney:
I would love to see more new characters too… but really what more can be done? Maybe someone humorous like Dan but a drunkard, I mean SF made a Bruce Lee (Fei Long) why not a Jackie Chan like the Tekken and Virtua Fighter franchise did? Stages are fun. I love seeing that scene in Africa and E. Honda’s sumo gym may be funny with all the fat sumo’s falling over. Music is great like the volcano stage or Cody’s theme. And taunts are hilarious. The more the better.
Oo oo got it. Chun Li’s dad didn’t really die but he has amnesia or really disfigured but Chun doesn’t know who he is and he became a drunken kung fu master.
New characters are almost always welcome, but SF has a really strong roster. I would much rather see more SFIII characters getting some love than have Oni and evil Ryu taking up slots.
What about Karin from Alpha? Rip a little SFxT Asuka techniques and projectile dodges…
Hey don’t hate on Oni. However new characters can be anything…C Viper and Juri were pretty cool, Abel is solid as well. Are you suggesting that it isn’t possible to come up with anything new that’s worthwhile? I doubt that…there are always possibilities.
I’m a big fan of Karin, but again much prefer new characters…we have the whole cast of SF2, a bunch of alpha characters, the best SF3 characters, do we really need more old characters? There is something fresh and exciting about playing a character that you haven’t played for over a decade, I don’t know maybe it’s just me.

Well I was able to make one up just in this string so I guess its not impossible just tough to keep them original. I think seth and el fuerte were not so good but the others are great. Remy… meh
No. Leave this game alone.
Personally I’m fine with the way the game is now, but my money would be on them releasing 2013 with just one new character (probably Elena, I’d say), a few new stages and practically no updates to training mode or netcode.
Well the fact its free now to PS+ users means they are done.
