Dont know whats the most accepted version here at srk. Which one has more competitive players, dlc differences. I know street fighter has a bigger community on xbox live … although Im not sure. I bought an xbox yesterday and played some online games today sunday in the afternoon, and the amount of players as their quality well on par with what I find on the psn. The difference was that the connections were done faster, and were “slightly” more solid … but Im not sure.
Not sure which one has better competition, but I’m pretty sure you’ll find less lag on XBL. I always assumed that if people pay for something, they’ll dedicate more time to it, so based on my retarded theory, you’ll also find better competition on XBL.
Other than that, if you’re a pad player, you’re better off with the PS3 version.
Well, the lag on the 360 is pretty horrendous anyways, so I wouldn’t bother taking lag into consideration.
buy it for whichever system you use more/have a bigger friends list.
PS3 would probably be the tourney standard as it doesn’t require an active internet connection to retain the updates to the game where as the 360 must be online to “sync” to the latest version as I’m told because it doesn’t save it to the hard drive for some reason. But if you’re not bringing a setup anywhere just do whatever is more convenient.
Depends on when you want to have it. If you buy the PS3 version right now, you won’t be able to enter your Kombat Pass to go online (though you can use the 2 day trial, I guess), but the Xbox version doesn’t have that problem.
Why I would have that problem with the online code? Psn is already back since Saturday.
I’m not sure but I think the Kombat Code has to be validated through the PSN Store which hasn’t been restored yet.
yup, cant redeem any kind of codes at this time (which SUCKS, Sony!)
If you are only going to play exclusively online then you’d have to wait for them to patch it (if they do). Otherwise, its a pretty solid game. If your into SF or Tekken then be advised that it is quite different from any other fighting game, so it might be difficult for you to get into it at first but once you get the hang of it you may enjoy it.
Buy the one your friends have.
whichever u have more friends on, get it for that system. your friends are gonna be one of the main reasons why you keep on playing. u can find good players on both systems so that shouldnt matter.
