Listen, I’m on the fence when it comes to all of this. But America has a problem that as far as I can tell, no other western industrialized country has.
We have constant mass shootings.
Other countries have them very infrequently.
I want to lessen the frequency, if nothing else and a childish/NRA view about gun ownership isn’t helping anyone.
No. People should be allowed to bring in AK’s.
Then they can fire their guns into the air to get hype. Like, some dude just pulls off a clutch reversal and converts it into huge damage, dude just go nuts and starts spraying.
Then the rest of e-sports will HAVE to taking the FG community seriously.
This would be such a huge PITA to deal with if it was going to be something even vaguely secure at these tourneys. They’re often at hotels with a bunch of ways in and out.
I’ve got some high caliber stuff, that only needs a puff applied, for maximum effect.
We’re talking mechanic-type dudes at Autozone breaking awkward ice in line, in order to find out what it is and where they might buy it, levels of panty-dropping excellence.
I’m not saying waste it on Smashers - just the general audience.
No, too many ways for people who would do a shooting to smuggle one in unless everyone had to have full bag searches and open their stick up on entry which I’m not sure is even possible to do properly on a reasonable timescale at events like these.
If you’re stuck with guns being a threat anyway it’s best for the nutjob who smuggled one in inside his or her stick not to be the only one with one.
nobody is going to go shoot up some random fgc tournament. YOu want numbers? You blow up a football/soccer/basketball/LoL/Starcraft tourney. You seem to be making a big deal out of nothing. FGC doesn’t have the numbers or exposure to be contreversial enough to target.
No NSA I will not do stupid shit like, im just reassuring this dude that he is safe going to FGC tourneys and should be more worried about bad shit happenenign at large events where the threat of real widespread casualties is real.
