Love Zangief and perhaps I just lack the patience to play a grappler in general… but any other grapplers, in your experience, have an easier time closing the gap on shotos playing lame?

Alex has some moves that can help him advance while dodging or absorbing fireballs as well
Laura can potentially move behind her own fireball in order to get in, but its range is generally more limited
To answer your question. Every other grappler can get in MUCH better than Gief can.
