Was there anything actually ever there? Because I clicked on it now and it’s being a bit: “Hello, I’m a link BUT I DON’T ACTUALLY LEAD ANYWHERE”, and is just stuck loading.
The Wiki has been acting up a bit recently. You’d have to ask Wiz what’s really up though.

I wouldn’t bother with the wiki until further notice, editing the wiki tends to take it, and the rest of the front page down, so until that can be corrected the wiki is off. People were using the wiki, i believe there were around 2000 pages created in total.
Yea, I’m the one that got the Wiki project going. Sad to hear its acting up. I’ll be contacting you Jaguar about it.

I for one would like the wiki back. I was making a very comprehensive A3 Chun Li thread.
Also, can they change the wiki page addresses so that the wiki comes up easier in google? Like i HAVE to type in A3 Shoryuken Chun Li to get my page. It’ll make it more well known.
I would also like to see it return. I spent a very large ammount of time and effort into the Ibuki 3S section.
That’s why I’m glad I did my shit on the wiki ‘and’ on the forum.
You want an easy way to preserve your stuff, just save it to notepad before you submit it.
Oh yeah most of my junks is on the forums too, and I backed all of it up locally.
But still, I felt it was a section that was part of a whole item. And it was public access for people to add to. And posted in a nice neat little space, rather than scattered around misc. posts/threads. Plus I put some time into the formatting and filling in blanks and adding a bunch of stuff that isn’t on the forums.
yes I want SRK wiki back. It just really needed to be fixed badly. I couldnt even edit shit in my profile and all the site just got raped. It’s so nice cause u can complie everything on one game/char on one page instead of searchin through pages of threads for shit.
Yeah, I have also wondered why the wiki has been down for such a long time. It’s such an ambitious project but unfortunately the maintenance issues are really holding it back. I definitely want the wiki back too because it’s such a good source for comprehensive fighting game information that’s neatly compiled into sections which saves the viewers plenty of time.
Would it be possible to get information on the wiki back, either from a text dump or in a read-only mode? I was in the middle of backing up all of the data for the sections I was maitaining when the wiki ate it for good. :\

Yeah, we put it back up with the site, i told some people but didn’t in the thread, sorry.
Regardless, the wiki should be ok, we’re seeing 2 issues at the moment

Some pages have table html still there for some reason, not sure if it’s an error in the wiki or the edits in the page.
