So I got a PM about what I said, and I just wanted to post a public response.
When you first get the chicken, you don’t really need to marinate it. Usually a light salt and pepper seasoning will go a long way.
If you are dead set on marinating though, a light ginger soy sauce mix works great.
I really want to post a stupid question that I seriously don’t mean at all, but I don’t want to give myself a bad name as an 09-er.
so I’ll spoiler it
bad question?

Can someone help me with this new terminology bullshit? WTF is this LK and HK garbage? I only know, and follow the following words – Jab, Strong, Fierce, Short, Forward, Roundhouse.
Sorry, I couldn’t help, but I grew up on Bat-top HAPP Button cabinets in Oakland Chinatown.[/details]
yea man, just practice with the stick more, u’ll get it eventually. God this site has so many jerks ready to post the most witty and creepest comments to ANYONE the sounds remotely new to this stuff. Its how some ppl get off it guess…shit.
I read this thread for the lulz but there werent many. Anyhow I keep seeing how this dude has played all his life. He’s probably only like 10 or 12 so his life isnt long. He started out just a year ago or something. Dont give him a break though.
yo guy. though the person who said it was most likely trying to be funny and sounded like a gigantic asshole when he said it, the easiest way to do a DP is to do the DP motion. To go more into depth about this the way you’d like, it sounds like you’re trying to do the move and then it doesn’t come out. that’s because you think you’re doing the move but you aren’t. if you’re not getting the move down the way you like, then you need to train yourself to do it consistently. Go into training mode (or versus mode with unlimited time or something like that) and don’t leave it until you can do 20 shoryukens in a row or at least really feel like you can.
Do the motions as literally as possible.

:df:+any punch (don’t walk forward, CROUCH forward)
I don’t own a stick, but I’ve heard of others saying that they find success with pulling off shoryukens by moving their stick in the shape of a Z. another method is to walk forward then immediately do hadouken. I haven’t tried HD so that might not work, but I’ve had success with that last method in all games that use DP motion.
edit: As for the 360, try starting with hcb or hcf first if you’re on the ground. if you’re in the air, start with the top first. Should look like this:
Ground: :hcb::ub::u::uf: or :hcf::uf::u::ub:
Air: :r::uf::u::ub::l::db::d::df: or :l::ub::u::uf::r::df::d::db:
along with this, try holding the punch you’d like to use before you do the motion and then let it go once you’ve finished the motion.
