Try thinking of moving your stick in a “Z” motion if you’re having a hard time.
if the words “I” , “can’t” and “stick” are in a thread title it should auto close.
try pressing forward and then doing a fireball.
that might seem easier than normal srk motion.

I don’t have a problem with you asking for help, but how the fuck can you not do a dp in HDR if you have been playing SF all your life? Could you do them for old versions of ST? HDR is a lot more lenient than ST imo.

If you play this game on a joystick, you are not able to do a shoryuken in this game. It is part of the rebalancing by David Sirlin to give players that use a joypad a better chance of winning. You can tell that this game was meant for a pad because when you go to the button set up it will show a picture of the Playstation 3 controller, which is what you must use when playing this game.
