I mentioned P3 and 4 to imply I’m comparing it to my experience there. I’m sure the mainline SMT games are harder. And I mean, Persona was never in the SMT series anyway so yeah
P3 seems harder than P5 so far. But part of that was due to not being able to issue direct commands to your party. Of course…The Answer was a bunch harder than The Journey in P3:FES, so there’s that.
You can find Ryuji in the hall right outside of class or the arcade. I believe to trigger his link he will text you to hangout. Thats also how I started Ann’s
Whining aside, I managed to kick that child molester’s ass and this game rules. I’ve never played any of the persona games, honestly the art style and promo is what got me most interested in the game. The thing is a delight to look at and the bold musical score choice pleases me.
this game feels like what P4 was supposed to be. aside from the murders the game never dealt with dark enough subject matter to really justify its dramatic tension. these characters have some baggage though, they’ve been through shit that gets you cheering for them so when they do fight back it feels great.
in P4 it was never satisfying it was always a case of “you almost got us killed because of this insignificant little ‘secret’ goddammit”
I get what you do to raise Knowledge (answering class stuff right, reading, studying, etc), and that apparently coffee at the place you live/some beef bowl ramen thing helps that too, but I don’t really know how you’re supposed to raise Kindness early/at all.
Hell, I saw that some people progressed Ann’s Social Link on the very first day you can choose to go through the first dungeon (4/18 I think?) and I’m like “You can’t even START leveling up your Kindness then, can you?”.
There’s some books you can buy to increase kindness. Also working at the flower shop will boost kindness though you’ll need level 2 charm to start working there. Eating nostalgia steak at the diner will boost it as well.
I have no idea what I need to do to increase guts. I watched a movie that did it but I can’t find anything else that can.
To increase guts i THINK a part time job can do that. Otherwise sometines the theater plays a movie that will boost it, and you can boost guts by doing the burget challenge at the burger place.
Alao after Ann friend gets better, SOMETIMEs Ann will be in the classroom, I didnt have kindness level 2 to start it then so it took hella long until a day she actually texted me to hangout popped up
I wasn’t able to with the available jobs. The convenience store and beef bowl shop increase proficiency. For the latter I need to level guts in order to apply.
Final boss in 2nd palace is legit on hard mode. Even after I grinded 4 levels above average, got a good persona, and bought best available armor/weapons I still burnt through 70K worth of healing and revive items just to slide by.
Just finished the 2nd boss. Wasnt hard, but i struggled a bit only because that nigga was constantly attacking my MC and I wasnt trying to get a game over. Was wasting valuable terms to keep MC in the green lol
Guts are often a side effect you get from doing something else like studying when everyone is talking shit.
You can get kindness from watching aplicable movies and taking care of the plant in your room which I beleive doesn’t even cost time just a little plant food from the store.
Also word of advice buy as many books as you can so you always have something to read on the subway. Otherwise you’ll just end up wasting that time.
Also there is one thing required for getting the true end. Its literally not a spoiler at all but I will still spoiler tag it in case some people dont like seeing that big of a hint. But basically you

Need to finish Mementos. Not all the requests in there, but you have to reach the bottom and I guess something will happen/boss fight? This is from my boy who beat the game in JP
Just sharing because this game is long and im sure ppl may not want to replay the whole game if they miss it
