She's a Fixxer upper: SSF4 Rose Fixxes

I guess it’s a double edged sword. Multi hit would give more time for comboing into stronger/slower attacks like S.HP/S.HK on the ground. And assuming ST doesnt scale, it shouldnt make a difference in juggles as it’ll probably be her best juggle ender. All speculation of course.

Well I’m mostly interested in soul throw as a combo ender for the untechable kd.

As the damage put out now by the combo stands it wouldn’t be worth the meter burn, even if it did more damage than a drill, but if this could finish a round, it might be worth it.

i would like for there to be multi orbs but i dont think they would add more. Just due to the fact she as always has been pictured with two in sf4 and alpha.

Reflecting/absorbing fireballs would be sick and it would be interesting to see how it will react to fireball ultras. Like will it absorb two hits? Oh and if they absorb will it build meter ahahahahh?

But regardless this needs to be multi hitting as saqs said.

And about the stun. Has it been confirmed that any of the new ultras actually have stun? Like the DIRTY BULL ultra? If so then this must either a) reflect or b) stun just due to the dmg regardless of comboablitly. But i really hope it does both :slight_smile:

Which means they are obviously working on Rose. LET IT BE HEARD THAT WE WANT OVERHEADS, 400 DAMAGE ON HIT SPIRAL NO SCALING PLZ.

They should do it like this, the normal Soul Throw gains either some invinc frames on its active frames so it can do a better job of AA’ing or it should get a bigger hit box to achieve the same results. Which ever one makes it AA better.Normal Soul Throw could keep the FADC from Soul Reflect combo but it may not be needed since Ex. would do it for 1 bar instead of two.

The Ex.ST should work just as good if not better than the normal ST as a AA(having ful invinc) and naturally combo to Soul Reflect(No FADC) and do 160-180 base damage. It sounds strong but with all the meter choices rose has to makes it really is reasonable. Think about it we need meter for Ex.SSpark,Ex.SSpiral for reversals,SSpark FADC tick throws, Super cancels,etc…

So rose already has to manage her meter wisely. Making Hp.Soul ReflectxxSoul Throw FADC just makes the attack go down on the list of moves that are going to be used in actuall play while making Ex.ST do the same thing for 1 meter and not FADC keeps it at a reasonable option.

Also please please put some + frames on cr.mp when it hits. It just dosen’t make sense to me that it lands and put me a neutral(this would be great on block but i know thats to good) i just want +2-3 frames on hit whatever will make it possible to countert hit combo cr.mpxxcr.mpxxspiral and stop people from doing specials/super/ultra’s when im going for cr.mpxxSSpiral.

But you have to understand that Rose gets a much needed no-quickstand KD.

I 100% agree with this. More often than not, I’ll be fighting some scrub Ryu who LP DPs right in front of me, but I block. Yet, I’m knocked back far enough where, though I can hit them with c.mp, any non EX spiral will get blocked by them. it’s total bullshit.

And what’s with Sagat being able to do 4 light hits that still combos into a normal DP? SSF4 can you come any sooner? And will you not let us down?

We can only dream of Spirals with 3-5 frame startup…

Oh I wasn’t going that far, I was referring more to the horizontal range of tiger uppercut. Iunno what combo potential tiger knee would have if it were used instead though. oops wrong forum.

@Rose I didnt say i wanted it to be for no meter just ne bar instead of two. Ex. would be the only one that would combo naturally while any other ST would required FADC. Maybe with the exception of a traded hit like cr.Hp or something that would leave u air born.

I think SSpirals would benefit from the +frames and if we get that damage buff i asked for earlier rose will be a much bigger threat.

With Super getting close i am worried about the balance for Rose. Would love some details on what they are doing for her other then hints here and there.

Here is a little known fact. Rose can throw Tarot Cards with frightening precision as demonstrated by her custom introduction with M. Bison in Street Fighter Alpha 3. I imagine that if Rose was more popular that she’d have a similar command throw. The card appeared to glow like a Soul Spark, but was much faster.

It would be cool actually if she had a move with one of her cards.

That would actually be a cool looking ultra. She throws a card that gets bigger and twirls around lol.

It then would show them inside the card and then she brings it back.
