I remember calling it before that yu suzuki should get his shit together and make a kick started for shenmue 3, never thought that it was gonna happen this year. Man, this is insane. But pretty hyped about it nonetheless. Yeah, yuh!!!
I wouldnāt be surprised if Shenmue 1 and 2 being playable is one of the final stretch goals despite getting the cinema scenes for them as the first stretch goal.
I am not saying it would have put it in first place or even second. But having more games is better for your console. Withholding games when you have no games coming out was a retarded decision. It hurt them so much. Doing that coupled with the Saturn e3 announcement killed them.

But yeah, I remember my local Electronicās Boutique actually stocking Japanese imports like X-Men vs Street Fighter, Vampire Savior and even some of the untranslated JRPGs (I definitely remember seeing Slayer Royal there), probably because importing games was the only way to make the Saturn look appealing to American audiences.
Oh yeah, I guess more on topic, itās great to see Shenmue 3 finally getting made. Never too late, I supposeā¦

Shenmue was indeed amazing for its time however 15 years later the times have changed. I hope this game retains itās spirit as well as what made it fun.
