I’ve compiled a She-Hulk FAQ on my blog with the most frequent questions I see on this forum:
yeah, our TACc is not going to be as useful as we thought it was, because it CAN be countered. It’s no longer a BnB per se but it still useful to throw out every now and then to mix it up.
my question: is there any cool shit we can do with X-factor’s boost in speed and hitstun that we can’t otherwise? xfactor bnb’s if you will?
also, whats a good way for she hulk to call her xfactor in. most character can do shit like cancel supers or reset combos, but she hulk doesn’t seem to be able to do that very well. right now I just call it in before a launch, but I don’t actually get any extra hits in this way.
Can She-Hulk combo after her overhead? (F+H) I was trying this the other day and it seemed like I could get crouch L out after but sometimes it would be blocked. What’s the timing on this?
Also I was messing around in training mode and found something peculiar. If you just do the Emerald Cannon hyper (qcf+atkatk) on Ammy when she is just standing there, the follow up timing to get the second hit changes. Out of OTG torpedo I hit the hyper and the follow ups every time, but if I just hit the hyper with Ammy standing there the follow up timing seemed to change. Maybe because Ammy is short and the dropkick had a delayed hit? Any insight on what the timing should be?

Has anyone done any significant testing with DHC out of ToT? Against characters like sent, ammy and zero who are in the air alot, i like to ToT but i can’t catch reliably with c.H yet, and would like to punish more when i hit it.
Shulk can combo :f::h: into c.:l:. I usually just mash it.
NessEagletown: Are you talking about DHC trick setups or otherwise? Specifically what’s your teams?
For Shulk ToT followups, just dash once and c.:h:, or in the corner just c.:h:.
Ya i was looking for follow ups, my team is Shulk(torpedo)/Akuma(tatsu)/Tron(Flame). i’m not great with c.H just yet but i haven’t been able to follow-up with anything else consistantly. So i guess the better questions would be good follow up other than c.H to combo out of ToT.
Um, does anyone have advice on how shulk can deal with Sent spit + Doom hidden missile keep away?
I was practising this a lot a couple of days ago and I think the timing isn’t too bad. Are you too early or late with the c.H? After ToT I crouch and then wait a press H a beat after the wall bounce; in fact I find that even hitting H a little earlier isn’t bad.
She can’t IMHO. You’re better off using another character. Preferably someone with a beam so they can hit both Sent and Doom. How has your Task or Sent fared in that match up? I’d use them instead of her.
k I wanna ask other she-hulkers cos i’m not sure if im doing dis right or if the game wont let me,
kk so i do anti air hyper in the corner, i follow up with a simple crouch fierce slide, launcher, 1, 2, 3, 4 in the air, then land, down, down special, run, slide and then hyper off the slide. For whatever reason, I can’t get the 2th n 3th part of the hyper to follow up. like the screen freezes for a frame or two and it wont let me qcf+s no matter if i time it like 1 usually do or if i mash.
anyone try this and come back 2 me with wats going on? i guess the game think it does too much damage?
You only get one wallbounce per combo, both of those Hypers use a wallbounce, so you can only use one of them in combo.
Also, once nice thing about Shulk vs. and character + doom missiles is that you can go for a :qcf::h: grab and if it connects on the point char, you can block the missiles then combo. Against Sent I usually try to WD/dash jump or slide under his beams and :qcf::h:.
can you dhc trick with she hulk, like after i do storm’s elemental rage can i dhc into her and have reset damage?
i wouldn’t say you CAN’T. especially if you have an assist with a beam, like doom. catch sent with a beam and wave dash in. if you can predict the assist, you can emerald cannon and then DHC into a full screen super to make them feel bad for spamming the assist
Only with the car level 3…totally not worth it.
I use She-hulk. I do her basic BnB then OTG Torpedo. Then I aim for a reset (Say for example, I wait for them to recover in the air then use “Taking out the Trash” Super, then etc).
As far as I know, the opponent has a couple options: either recovering by jumping foward, or recovering by jumping backwards. But there is also another option I’ve noticed, the opponent continues to spin after the OTG Torpedo and DOES NOT recover in the air, but instead, continues to spin and hits the ground and does a normal recover which basically ruins my chances of any possible air reset. I tried to go in training mode with two players but I can’t figure it out. Im curious how the opponent does this? Anyone know just so when I face another She-hulk?
is it always the same combo? combo duration could affect this…the only other thing is maybe the torpedo isnt hitting properly? i…got nothin.
After an OTG torpedo is it possible to jump cancel into an air combo? I think I remember seeing someone pull this off but I haven’t been able to do it myself…
