I was expecting something more along the lines of Metal Gear Rising but it’s okay, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. It’s still in development, let’s see if they can make it look better.

Yeah I was expecting a 3D action game as well. I mean, on one hand this is going to be harder to fuck up. On the other hand, it’ll be much easier to make this a really boring nothing game. Unless it has something extra going for it other than Shaq, even so much as an okay beat em up will end up as really boring after a while.

They’re still working on it. Game dev takes a long time.

I’m curious to see how it’ll turn out as well. From the concept images you would’ve thought it was gonna be a 3D action game like Devil May Cry but then this sidescroller thing came out of left field.

I’m really wondering how they’re gonna make a tournament-worthy fighting game out of this.

They’re not trying to, they never were, the entire premise of the kickstarter is that the original was a stupid idea and to not do that again.
