Let’s get Skullgirls into Evo, people!

Important info:

  • January 24th, 8PM PST until at least 11, probably till much later (^.^)
  • Streamed on twitch.tv/eightysixed
  • There will be Surprises with a capital S. Be sure to wear socks.
  • So far we have [S]$3,000[/S] [S]$3,100[/S] [S]$3,200[/S] $3,300 pledged for matching donations made during the drive. I can hardly believe it! (If you’d like to pledge some more matching funds, which I can also hardly believe, PM me.)
  • The drive will be held at Frootsii in Sherman Oaks…if you come to Salty Cupcakes, COME TO THIS!

Let’s make sure this gets publicized everywhere!

Clarifications:

  • The SG team counts as “publishers” so unfortunately we can’t directly donate, but we can damn sure support the community.
  • It might be streamed from my toaster if I can’t get ahold of a better laptop. >.<

Hm, so what’s the deal with matching donations? Should I add to the pool or wait and donate during the stream?

Matching = if the donation drive raises $5 another $5 will be added, if it raises $700 another $700 will be added, etc, up to whatever the max matching amount is.

Since we need $8000 to equal SSBM, if we can get the matching funds up to $4000, that means we can potentially get the 8k. However, I do wonder whether we’ll be able to make the full amount to be matched without the donors who are so kindly doing the matching funds. I wonder if we’ve tapped out our community at this point. Here’s hoping everyone’s just waiting for thursday though.

You could let people play online to show off it’s excellent netcode (which is a must for most games nowadays, sadly)

Even if I can’t make it, I’ll leave my laptop on twitch so it counts me as a viewer.

That’s basically half of the internet. Or a good chunk of them. I posted on the TBFP Facebook page about the Salty Cupcakes stream. Hopefully they know about it.
