i couldnt really tell, when you tag in your partner, do they enter with an attack automatically, or just become under your control immediately?
Under your control, no attack upon entry. Tekken Tag was like this, and DoA as well.
My only complaint is that Marduk looks weird. He isn’t supposed to look like that.
Random question just to see what people think: If you were making the roster for this game, would you go for the “obvious” character comparisons/rivalry type setups, or let one of the two fill the role entirely to try to diversify the roster more? Ex, Fei vs. Law, or just put Law in and add a more aesthetically differentiated SF character instead.

On one hand stuff like Fei vs Law and Lili vs Karin write themselves. After all the Ryu vs Kazuya set up is because Kazuya was the ‘Ryu’ of Tekken back in the day, so Ono seems to appreciate obvious rivalries as well (Note: Harada appears to match Ryu against Tekken’s second main hero Jin). Bruce vs Sagat, Xiaoyu vs Sakura, Christie vs Elena, Makoto vs Leo, etc.
On the other hand, that idea may limit choices. Who in SF is counterpart to Yoshimitsu? And it doesn’t seem like Chun Li has an obvious rival - but hell if she’s excluded from a crossover.
I’d go with the obvious stuff, seems more fan friendly. But also add wild cards.
I hope they wont do Law and Fei long in the same game, they are the same character doesnt make any sense

yeah it would be and with harada randomly showing and finishing up tekken tag 2 it makes perfect sense that tekken vs street fighter will be concerntrating on revolutionizing fighting games

mortal kombat (side view tag)
street fighter x tekken (side view tag)
tekken tag 2 (side view tag)
im seriously doubting tekken vs street fighter is gonna be tekken tag 2 with street fighters added, something different is happening- wake up.

On one hand I’d like to see all the obvious rivalries but on the other hand I think it might feel too “samey”. Just give me Lars, Jin, and Feng and I’m good. :tup:

OK can anyone tell me that if this game is going to have any NEW Street Fighter Characters? Or would the chance be low?
New as in “never seen before”, or current latest game “new”? It’s obvious that a lot of the Tekken cast are just re-skinned SF4 characters: Marduk is Abel, Bob is Rufus, etc. I would say that you aren’t gonna see any brand new characters. This is just sf4 vs tekken series.

New as in built from scratch? Not a chance. But I can see some story-related characters getting a playable version. I’m still hoping for Poison - although she was playable in that horrid Final Fight fighter, so her chances aren’t that low.
I just hope they stay as far away from the SF4 characters as possible. Give me some of the new faces and some recurring favourites, but keep it fresh.
Don’t expect any new characters, but none of the characters are really the same. All the Tekken characters are pretty much brand new, you’ve never played them in this kind of engine. At that, the new engine is way different from SSFIV, so alot of the SF characters are gonna feel like brand new characters.
