They don’t though. That’s the problem. Instead of covering valuable information that a newbie could grasp and indulge in, they always write stupid shit like how thick Chun-Li’s thighs are, or spread misinformation like the Capcom-Europe comment (which still to this point has not been updated). These reviewers must feel obligated to constantly remind their readers about their ineptness of fighting games. I’m sure a lot of us on this site would gladly take the time to sit down and educate Mr. Totilo from a technical standpoint, but he must believe that his time is clearly not worth such an engagement.
Kotaku is, always has been, and likely always will be trash. I don’t see why people keep visiting the place.
Kotaku’s no better or worse than all the other gaming blog/news sites. Honestly have trouble finding good ones. I surf through Kotaku, Dtoid, IGN for general stuff. Eventhubs, Bnet, and other for specific news on certain games and genres.
Need to find some good sites. IGN’s been writing some terrible articles and they publish news late. Their movie/tv coverage is on point though (i09’s better, though). Still never heard a good reason for Kotaku hate, as well. And it only seems to be SRK. I asked many times and got nothing. lol
That kotaku preview was hard to read and gave me a headache. They need to stop pretending they’re trying.

Well…judging by the fact that you have two of the biggest fighting game franchises in this game it would seem like a no brainer for it to be the headliner @ EVO 2012. Of course…I could be wrong in my opinion;P

What’s sad is that I doubt my favorite Street Fighter and Tekken characters will ever make it. The chances that Zafina, Alisa, Twelve, and Necro making it in are all probably fairly small.

Tekken had free DLC? Or do you mean the customizable attire? That’s kinda apples and oranges. And it’s *very *likely SFxT will go the premium DLC atttire route, it’s still a Capcom game.
I really hope they use characters that weren’t in SSFIV but I can see them going the lazy route and recycling models anyway.
