This is generally the case with game play. Now I do speak out of past experience rather than them telling me for sf x tekken.
I understand why it wasnt the case with UMVC 3 because it probably was not heavily preordered. I dont know how SF x Tekken is, but I assume it will have more than marvel did.

not true. I got ssf4 early, umvc3 and mvc3 there without pre orders.
Well thats the thing, it depends on how many copies they get versus how many preorders they have.
Anyways my friend just called me hype as fuck because gameplay called him to go pickup his preorder

So for you SoCal heads like myself, I’ll confirm it again. Gameplay in Long Beach has it today as of this post time. The collector’s edition is in for the 360, and the PS3 collector’s will be in around 2pm according to the worker. Definitely swinging by after class to snag it. Good luck!

Took a drive to NYC store and the phones were ringing non stop with people pre-ordering the game. When I looked at the list, it was several pages long. Thing is, most of those folks on the list did not buy the game so I suppose if you did you might have a better chance picking it up. I did manage to pick up a Qanba arcade stick but I need to return it since there is a glaring defect that will make gameplay overtime unbearable.

Me and my friend just picked up our special edition for 360 at game play
They had about 2 special editions left, ps3 specials were coming in at 2pm.
Plenty of regular copies.
