Honestly its not usual for stores to tell you if they have it over the phone because its ILLEGAL to sell it before tuesday. Best bet is to go in person show some cash and interrogate the fuck outta them.

pretttttttty sure retailers can get hit with some litigation for breaking the street date. not saying its illegal, but i think its a breach of contract since most retailers sign deals with publishers etc saying they wont break the street date. whether or not they enforce it is an entirely different thing, though.
