Anyone able to find the file that contains the xbox360 buttons yet?
I thought they were in key_icon.emz as well, but if you look at the button icons in “SF4 Asset Explorer” the buttons are not the same as what you see ingame.
The “A” button in key_icon.emz…

The “A” Button we see ingame…

They have got to be hiding elsewhere. The buttons are playing a game of hide and seek on me.
Just because it’s on the internet, doesn’t make it true.
Misinformed website with no credibility.
Yeah, we care.
If you’re using a 360 controller or stick it’ll change them automatically. My qanba first gave me numbered buttons under the PS3 settings, but then when I switched it to 360 it changed all of the button to the 360 ones.
I don’t know how you could change them, but they are definitely in there.
So much of their information is wrong, it hurts… As far as I know the only people getting the characters “for free” are the folks who own it on PS3 and Vita, because you get them for free for buying the vita version. Interestingly enough, one vita should, in theory, be able to unlock them for multiple PSN accounts.
Just to put an example out there for others and to double check my own understanding of the conversion and how to read the values:
-if I wanted a color that had a .33 green value
http://babbage.cs.qc.cuny.edu/IEEE-754/ - this site binary32 is:
3EA8F5C3
Is this to be read:
C3F5A83E for MatCol0G …or a value of 84.15 for G(of RGB)?
Inversely I would take an RGB value of 100 divide it by 255 = .39 = 3EC7AE14
= little endian of 14AEC73E?
I figured using the *3f800000 converts to *0000803f example.
Yeah, this is what I was getting and while I had some odd effects show up, more the most part this is a good example.
Another shortcut for some might be looking for colors that already exist within the game. For example, I wanted a nice blonde color for Asuka so rather than wasting time looking through the hex colors and converting, I just grabbed Poison’s 02.obj.emm and copy pasta’d the blonde values into Asuka’s.
It can be useful if you aren’t 100% sure how a hex color might show up in game. Skintones can be hard to get just right sometimes, particularly a nice dark tan skintone, so having an in game example already helps a lot.
Found this nice example on the web >.>
Spoiler
The buttons ARE showing as 360 ones now, not numbers like your PS3 stick (look at my second picture).
Its just the file suggested to me is not the one that has the buttons, as you can see they look NOTHING like what the 360 buttons look like ingame.
They are hidden elsewhere and I can’t find them
Yea, this is a really good idea, makes it simple and sometimes simple things like that are overlooked as well. That is a really nice example and looks like a nice high res pic, what all did you change there? Just asukas hair color or the skin tone as well?
It sound like that we can create as many colors as we want
even if those colors does not exist in Capcom’s color pack.
That was rude… O.o… whatever…
so i have to listen to pitstop music…
been looking on the internet for sfxt mods with no luck; saw the mention of the poison one. Didn’t see a mention of the link so here it is http://gamevixenzone.ryonani.com/hot-stuff-21/sfxt-nude-mods-83/ if anyone missed it. guess i’ll have to wait as bit does anyone have a full save for the game? tried to do a web search with no luck
sorry dude just didn’t see anyway for anyone to find it; found out about it here and had to look a bit to find it. thought someone might be interested
besides its a link that requires you to register to even see the images and get the file so not sure what the problem is. A link to a link that requires registration.
Not sure how thats a problem, Was just trying to be helpful
Oh I see, that’s weird. o_O
Consider yourself a casualty of war. It’s to the point where its very annoying and unnecessary for EVERYONE to point out when they are bored/don’t like the game like its going to have a critical effect on everyone else. Honestly, of what significance is this information to -anyone- ? Maybe you meant it nonchalantly, but with everyone talking shit about the game just because its cool, you can’t act surprised that nonconstructive, irrelevant comments about your person decision to play something else (which is well within your rights and not the point this) aren’t held positively.
With every 5th post in every SFxTK topic coming from some troll hating on the game or trying to imply that the SFxTK community is stupid for playing a game they honestly enjoy, you’ll just have to forgive me for being rude.
On topic:
Has anyone figured out the hex to unlock the color sets that are available on console? I saw that you can change individual color slots, but I’m curious about unlocking the free color palattes… I guess they’ll get added Friday though, when I think about it…
Realistically, you could just turn the game music to 0 in the audio options menu and play your own music over it. >_>
So… I don’t suppose the colors and costumes have been properly unlocked yet, have they? Not asking for links or anything, a simple “yes” or “no” will suffice.
I don’t think they have.
Maybe its a buggy version of my game, but for some reason turning sounds and music to 0 doesn’t actually turn them off.
but mishima tracks are cool, so is training and elevator :<
and it breaks immersion completely
I suppose… I just turn the BGM off and leave the sounds and voices playing while I put other music on. EWGF’ing people while listening to A*nother one bites the dust *is godlike.
WTF?

What’s so WTF about it? We’ve known that you can access all the DLC on the 360 version
