Say, who is the shadow next to the Random icon, and what are the brown/blue/red things for?
Icon for locked character?
@dhoushi
The stages don’t use the emz bundles anymore, but you should still be able to open the individual emo models in the Asset Explorer to toggle things off. If the other games are any indication, most/all of the lua scripts–like the shaders–are compiled, and thus not very editable.
@SakuraSoMoe
the silhouette icon has been in all of the games, IIRC, and is just a placeholder.
The framerate is really bad and there’s a lot of artifacting. Go to Street Fighter x Tekken/stream/CMN/opening, and you’ll see a high and low quality OP. There’s low versions of all the intros and endings too, which are what I see in-game, but I can’t find them in the folders.
I reduced my resolution to 1024 x 600, it actually looks better the lower I go, it seems like. Oddly enough, benchmark tels me I can run it 100% at max settings, as well, but the game runs very slowly at max. So weird.
I’m not sure how the whole modding thing works, so I don’t know what’s possible, but I had a thought.
Would it be possible to mod Mega Man and Pac Man to have movesets comprised of all the characters from Street Fighter/Tekken respectively? Since Mega Man and Mokujin are kind of all about copying characters.
Like, for example, for Mega Man’s QCF+P move, you could set it like:
LP - Yoga Fire (Dhalsim)
MP - Hadouken (Sakura)
HP - Hadouken (Ken)
EX - Gohadouken(Akuma)
Super - Shinku Hadouken (Ryu)
Would something like that be possible?
It would be a bit complicated. I’m sure someone will be able to manage it eventually but it won’t be for a little while.
Request:
Possible to make a color mod where the bright NEON colors are replaced by normal colors?
Thanks.
I approve of this idea.
Yes this(hopefully simple) mod alone will drive more people to PC!
But the question is…
WHICH COLORS!? O_O
Just a slightly different tone than the normal default would work.
How long is three full time outs in real minutes:seconds? I should try to loop them for that long haha.
I’ve just been using infinite time >_>
Correction, that was wrong. I’m going to double check.
180 seconds a round, about 5 between. So about 550 seconds.
@Hunterk
I just got my copy of Street Fighter X TEKKEN and I decide the whole folder of Guile(GUL) for somebody to figure ot(especially you Sloth)
Download link : http://monkeygigabuster.deviantart.com/art/SF-X-TEKKEN-sample-files-300194020
There are many files similar to SFIV, but after using rename trick I have figured out these are necessary files to make mods for SF X TEKKEN
Here is the image to compare (SF TEKKEN is above and SSFIVAE is below)

As SF X Tekken has color customization so no wonder it doesn’t have color.emb and It seems there are 6 colors for you to edit
So we need to figure out these files in order to do SF X TEKKEN mod
XXX_0X.2ry
XXX_0X.4ce
XXX_0X.color.custom_cluster.lua(with notepad ++ like somebody stated)
And the folder “Shader” of this game has exact same files like SFIV so what we need to do is take time to edit it
Here is some of my first impression of SF X Tekken on PC(technical side only)
A very poor port,not as polish as SFIV with these reasons
1/graphic option is very limited compare to SFIV and AE(there are no framerate option,extra effect,no filtering option,only one shadow option and even no particular option either),this kind of option is lame like Dead Rising 2(compare with games using MtFrame engine like DMC 4 and RE 5)
2/frame issue can be seen clearly (even it has technical support from NVIDIA too),with the same setting SFIV and AE run much smoother than SF X TEKKEN
Since there is no framerate option,you can’t choose the frame rate you want therefore affect online speed too(AE back then even include new framerate option to show how much they care for online mode for SFIV)
This game right now only have 2 costumes only(the character swap costumes) and there are no hidden folder for 12 chars as well as 3rd costume so the only way is to download and let’s hope they include patches too(the pc version still has many bugs and glitches compare to SFIV and AE) .
In conclusion,I’ll wait to see somebody figures out the way to make SF X Tekken mod,right now I’ll continue making SFIV mods,at least i have new model and material from SF X TEkken to make new mods for SFIV too
So wait, do you mean there’s actually SIX color edit slots, but only three are enabled? Any idea how to open those up?
Well, that’s interesting.
Would it be possible to add more slots for colors (pre-set or custom) by adding more of those files?
You know what I’m thinking? Maybe we should wait till the 11th and see if there’s a day 1 patch that will unlock some of the colors and stuff. It should make finding details about the colors and stuff much easier, like comparing the unlocked colors with the still-locked colors and seeing what values have changed.
