I’ve been trying and trying but the irc doesn’t load
I found that #SFxT works, instead of the lowercase version in the front page. The tournament started like a hour ago though, so, they’re probably not taking any new people.

What requirements do you need to use IRC Chat on EFnet?
I am using an older iMac and while I can get to the room, I cannot seem to type anything, nor see anyone’s posts.
I’ve never used any IRC before either.
I had to work, thus no tourney participation. Plus, I need massive amounts of practice & execution honing…
you wont get much out of the PSN Finals matches cause of the lag. 360 matches should be better. Shout outs to German players trollin the brackets

Oh man, looks like I missed out. Is there an ETA on the next one of these? These online tournaments seem like a great idea for the sfxt scene, kudos.
I had fun, it’s a shame my connection isn’t great with most of the players. Half of my wins didn’t feel that well earned, regardless it was good to play you guys and I think I might have a better connection when I’m at my own house (at my GF’s at the moment). Thanks to Leroy as well for taking on the brackets.
TBH I was playing quite well in our match, I just had like 1-2 situations where I didn’t block and I thought I did, and I didn’t even know how dudley works, you were raping me cause I had 0 knowledge of frame data etc lol
I’m really sure you can jab Dudley out of duck, Ryu’s do it to me all the time. In my first match against PumpkinEscobar I felt really nervous but after that I felt more in control and was having more fun. With a less-than-perfect connection you can never really be certain if you are playing at your best or if the lag is just screwing you. Hopefully enough people get on board so that we can have a European tournament.
Yeah hopefully we can do more of these soon.
Thanks to koji, I spent a half-hour in training mode doing nothing but practicing against Asuka’s j.HP. It was my own damn fault for letting her jump all over me even with Sagat’s GDLK anti-air. I make no excuses other than that I choked instead of realizing that what I was doing just wasn’t working.
That and I have no clue how to deal with Alisa!
