You sure you went to the right chat? If you’re using Mibbit make sure use the EFNET server with #sfxt as the channel name. Don’t forget the pound sign.

Edit: Sometimes when I click EFNET and #sfxt as the channel, it won’t join a room when I click connect. I put my nickname as well and it still didn’t work.
I Like MIRC the most because i dont even have to have browsers open and it’s least likely to crash + i get more functions.
I am unable to enter. I select EFNET. I type #SFXT (I’ve also tried #sfxt). I put a nickname. When I click connect, nothing happens.
I could’ve sworn I’ve seen you log-in at like 2AM EST. Must’ve been my imagination i guess. Fergus will give you instructions on how to use mIRC in a few.
I did. Then I went to change my name and was unable to enter ever since.

Download it then, click on tools, then options, then servers, click on Efnet folder, pick a relevent server, put in nickname and tick the “new window box” and connect! The channel is #SFxT, so type in /join #SFxT
Hope this helps and for everyone else, this is a pretty good IRC client, easy to use, lots of functions and can keep track of multiple channels easily.
I’d rather not download a program. How can I join like I did before?
Try this site if Mibbit isn’t working.
Webchat login is on the right, the usual, put in any nickname and then #SFxT.
If that doesn’t work, then I’m not really sure, must be something on your end, perhaps ports issue?
