#SFxT IRC chatroom on Efnet, come one, come all!

I could be wrong, but do you really need a client to chat? I simply went to efnet.org and entered the channel there…

Unfortunately at the time it was created, efnet.org was down for a day or 2, so I put up a client for people to use instead.

But yes, that’s an easier way to access the chat now.

On the side, there’s a webchat login, just put in whatever name you want and put in #SFxT in the channel part and login

I was thinking of starting a SFxT IRC chat on Efnet.

For those unaware of this, it’s just basically an online chatroom for discussing SFxT.

Maybe Jibbo could create the IRC chat to make it “official” or if he’s too busy, I’m happy to do so.

Only problem I can see, this may take some traffic away from this forum, so what do you guys think?

If everyone agrees with this, Myself/Jibbo/Any member of SFxT Defence Force, can go about this.

I just need to figure out how to set perma ops on it, but if everyone can go in there and idle to keep the channel there, that’d be great

There is no site for the webchat for efnet, so you could use your client to access Efnet server (clients like mIRC)

You click on tools, then options, click on Efnet folder, pick a relevent server, put in nickname and tick the “new window box” and connect! The channel is #SFxT, so type in /join #SFxT

i think this is an awesome idea! let me know when you set it up and I’ll join
