And that’s the problem, Sakura’s extra story parts on the console version of the first game very explicitly implied Hinata and Sakura are friends and live in the same universe, and Udon comics.
Even Project Justice seemed to completely ignore that.
I’d be perfectly happy with ignoring Karin and getting a Hinata+Sakura team, as awesome as Asuka+Lili vs Sakura+Karin would be.
