You mean Asia Game Show? Or is there another event I don’t know about?
As long as costumes are the only DLC that you “need” to purchase (and maybe new characters), I don’t really care what they do. Unless of course Cody doesn’t end up in the game after that huge tease a while back. Then I’ll be raging.
I just hope that the gems are as balanced as they say they are…I’d like to see some variety when it comes to gem selection. One busted group of gems that everyone uses would kind of ruin the point of gems…

These vids from the MCM Expo have my hopes up. It’s definitely nice to see some people who actually have basic fighting game skills playing, for once.

Nice match, that Rolento+Ryu player was pretty good.
I wish there were vids of someone beasting with a character NOT named Ryu.
Or Kazuya, but NOOOOOO, people got to go for the boring characters.
At these events it’s WSO, so for people who want to play the game for any amount of time, they unfortunately have to pick characters they’re more familiar with.
I did that with Rolento/Hugo though so lol.
Fair enough, but it’s been like what, 8 or 9 months since we’ve seen actual gameplay vids of this game? I mean of course there are scrubs running rampant, but whenever they are guys who have a good idea what there doing, it’s pretty much the same SF characters doing what they’ve always done with very few new tricks whilst the Tekken cast is mostly ignored. I understand what you mean mowr, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t itching to see who wrecks shit on Namco’s side of things.
I honestly can’t see anything special in that match. I’ve seen way better gameplay. In fact, it was a bit boring to me. The Chun-Li/Lili player was always doing the same things over and over and the Ryu/Rolento was boring as hell!
I don’t know, maybe it’s me, I can’t stand Ryu.

Only reason I thought it was good was because I haven’t seen many good SFxT matches to begin with.
I can’t remember, I saw the videos just by surprise via youtube like a week ago.
But they were fun! I think it was from the New York Comic-On. There was a guy who uploaded like 30 minutes of gameplay. No Ryu, no Ken, No Kazuya.
But can’t remember his nick, sorry.
I’ll look for those videos when i get back karin.

Dude, just watch SSF4 videos. Those characters are exactly the same, just with chains instead of links. There’s literally nothing new to show.

Ono said something about no disc updates just DLC for SFxT.
And pinky lulu liked the idea of a GOTY edition of the game to come out containing every DLC around a year after launch.
It’s sad that they’re not releasing any new info for over a month…Ono “subtly teased” 1 or 2 characters last night but I can’t really tell when he tweets anything about anyone now
