The problem isn’t even Gems or Pandora - the biggest problem is Capcom putting so much focus into these and forgetting things that really matter into building hype for the audience (and all of them, not just the casual one). NYCC lacked any reveal, and everything isn’t even explained in full detail yet.
And to add insult to the injury, we have a shitty (and offending, to us Tekken players) “marketing video” with some girl who can’t even act if her life depended of that lol

Wait Drag was in a trailer? I hope so, the only two Tekken chars I REALLY wanted were Raven & Drag, I never get the chars I want in fighters but I already got my main Raven so if I had Drag that’ll be great. My hype went down considerably cause of the stupid Gem system though. If its done right, this game could last for yearssssss, it has so many mechanics &fanservice & fun modes its crazy. if its done right >>>
As I mentioned before, I really want it to be separate MODE, not just an option when you create a lobby to put ‘‘No gems’’ thatll make me feel like Im not playing the game fully, and what if 60% of the games base plays with Gems on? I already have trouble finding good connection fights, so Im gonna have to be forced to play gems in the end. If its a separate mode idc, I can have fun. But im guessing its gonna be an option thing ;/ its like if you had a no xfactor option, many would play without xfactor but youll always feel like you’re not playing the game at its fullest. Altho Gem system cant be compared to that .

i just watched the “X the Line” little video…and dat bitch did cross the line…omg…if it wasnt for her terrible acting…it was the fact they are belittling the tekken community…no offense to SRK but its widely know that this is a SF community but i know these guys have enough respect for the game to “not” let some low down dirty shit like that get out…its cool to have rivalries its cool to talk shit…the community drives off that shit…but that was down right insulting.
Brennan you lost all your respect for capcom…its understandable. who could respect that? oh but i know someone is going to make a response video to that(and thats what they want) and either make a fool of themselves or…actually change the direction of the show…because that shit will drive the communites away from each other then bring them together…

Instead of hating on a fun new popular character like Poison you should be mad that Capcom is playing you guys by dangling a cool character you love to FADC into more boring ass shoto mixups.\
I can’t believe I’m agreeing with Janet but Poison is not the problem hell Poison is the solution and we need more “poison’s” (new different characters and people miss) and less of the charge club ( Balrog, Bison, Vega,etc) I like those characters but where is Remy? My true prediction in the future. The game will be played somewhat but ppl are gonna hate watching in and hate on it really. (Months later) “SF X T, show me a REAL FIGHTER, not this cross trash”. (Like Tekken 6)
But of course, this can change and we want it to change.
To be fair, Dragonuv is a substansially popular character (you’re probably more likely to see a good Drag at high level Tekken play than someone like Lei). He’s just not super popular among casuals because he never speaks and he’s not ‘ZOMGSOKAWAAI!!’ like Lili/Alisa.
They just told us that just because there are 6 teaser trailers doesn’t mean that 6 characters will be announced. Huh…
I would laugh so hard if some of the trailers had all the characters in it as red herrings :lol:

yeah, he has some sick command grabs, special tackle which can even be performed from knockdown position and regular attacks that becoming grabs on counter hit.

It should be blatantly clear to anyone right now that there are agents high up within Capcom trying to destroy SFxT.
Likely part of a bid to get Ono fired and to incur a second “death of fighting games”. SFxT seems especially apt because they can use the crossover channel to try to destroy Namco’s fighting game franchises in the same process.
