SFxT General Discussion #4 - Witty title

At least there was only one comment like that on that article. At least so far.

Speaking of UMvC3, they found another infinite.

Maybe if we find more infinites in our game it’ll be considered more hype?

But but infinites made sfxt a bad game! Obviously crapcom needs to play test their games better.

Thancruz mode should be a meme

Kawaii Heihachi says no one is allowed to spill his secrets. Also Asuka Heihachi is a god awful team ugh. At Least Bryan Steve makes sense… you should ban all requests for characters together that offer no strategic advantage to playing the characters together, haha.

Also Jack-X, King RyanHunter plays.

In reality though I think people don’t understand Hei at all so maybe seeing someone play him well would be good for people? I don’t know, Heihachi seems very misunderstood.

I’m just saddened every time I see a Heihachi that does nothing but f.lp chains. :frowning:

So…is your vote for Jack-X/King or are you voting for someone else?

And I’m not putting a ban on any character votes. I’m asking people to vote for two characters, but it ultimately comes down to the two characters with the most votes, not the two teams with the most votes.

Broke the 800 mark with Law and Sagat (Yes Im using Sagat again :D), sure it uses counter hit f+hk anti air to start it off, takes 3 bars, and also needs Law to be under 25% health for pandora… but fuck that, its 800 damage without using gems, Hugo, or turn punches

Thancruz mode beyond OP, no nerfs needed for this one!

Hugo is now unfair damage…

I must admit, for ‘get as much damage as you can’ he is top tier

In what way is Heihachi a misunderstood character? I’ll grant you I see him as "that really good character that everyone uses…but I don’t see anyone using him…"
What is the gameplan of a dedicated Heihachi player, how does it differ from how the misunderstanding players use him, and what does he do better than the rest of the cast?

I see him as a straightforward but by no means weak character: paralyze opponents in your range with frame traps, great mixup normals, and a counter, all while doing strong meterless damage and carrying them to the corner.

So I just read on the SF4 forums that Fuerte has good footsie tools. Never thought this day would come lol.

That is a huge question that I have no desire to answer with great big long paragraphs.

Also Bulbalink, I have no vote. Or I’ll have a vote that doesn’t matter, pick Rufus and Ryu.

Fair play, I basically asked you for an essay on the guy, xd.

Could you at least tell me how to get around his terrible walkspeed?

Hei’s good dude, he reminds me of Makoto though that shouldn’t be totally surprising.

His j. roundhouse is scary how hard it is to anti - air without a dp and his standing low will catch people all day if they don’t know the MU.

I see him as being an anchor with somebody like Alisa, Chun or Bison. You could even try Yoshimitsu or Vega.

Frost changed his avatar from Emma Frost to Nina I dunno whether to feel sad or victorious.

My old avatar was actually Sue Richards, the Invisible Woman from Fantastic 4 stripping and making her breasts turn invisible.

…you’re never gonna let that go, are you. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh because it looked snowy I always thought it was Emma. Feeling victorious it is

Just some Heihachi stuff,

Apart from doing max damage with a cl. roundhouse punish he basically has a shoto cr. MP. It’s +7 / +3 6f and cancellable. You can use it to safe hitconfirm into LP demon’s breath which is only -3 on block anyway.

Heihachi is pretty damn safe, I mean, his level 1 chrome dome is -2 on block and has upper body armour and gives you a crumple on counter hit. It’s basically a focus attack. If you charge it all the way it’s basically a focus it becomes unblockable and ground bounces. Off of any kind of crumple he gets really big damage as well, he has combos and does 400+ off most things.

He might be slow as well but his dash isn’t and he has a good jump and ways of getting around projectiles. His DP and hell axle go through them. The Rising Uppercut crushes standing attacks but unlike a shoryuken it’s -3 on block, it’s basically Omen Thundergod Fist from Tekken.

Heihachi can also reflect projectiles with demon breath as well though that requires precise timing.

Or you can just… ya know, spam cr. LP like everybody does online because it’s 4f and +4 on block lol.
