Ogre is seriously so good. Easily one of the best characters in the game.
On a side note, I finally know which characters I hate:
Chun-Li is just the most boring top tier EVER.

Huh Guy/Christie. That was my team for a few months pre 2013 I thought it was great. Bryan/Steve is great but I would be surprised if there’s anything juicy left to find since that is Windalf’s team.
I’m going to go to Defend the North as my first tournament/major, but I realize as a PS3 pad player I’m heavily disadvantaged with it likely being on 360. I have a Qanba Q4 that works on all platforms but haven’t used it much since I dislike how the stick itself moves (especially how the knob spins easily even though it is brand new). Oh well, I guess I do not have much of a choice.
It’s not a terrible team by any means, just not a team you run if you want high damage.

A bit pricey, but it does everything; PS3 controllers on 360 (including wireless), 360 to PS3 (you’d need to get a separate adapter for wireless 360 controllers but wired works perfectly fine), even Wii controllers to PS3 or 360. And PS3 or Wii controllers to PC. Works amazingly with arcade sticks as well. And I haven’t experienced any input delay with it either.
It’d also mean I could start practicing now, I’m in a swamp with no internet or stick so I could use the next two weeks to nail execution/strings without worrying about switching to stick in September. Maybe I can also use the time to solve my since-launch character crisis. I mean, I’m even considering point King at this point.
Speaking of, am I the only one who gets the feeling that King can play a successful defense in neutral? I only play D/C rankers atm, but I’m winning a good deal simply keeping people out with farst.HK, c.mk, st.lk, great AA, and hell catching heavy pokes with leg screws is not as impossible as I would have thought. Of course then you get a hard KD and stay on them like Hakan does his wife after a long business trip.
