st.MP is hitting the dummy during the last 7f of roll recovery, so it is impossible to reversal it.

Tech sightings in the sfxt forums? I thought finding the optimized combos= game fully figured out?

Xiao with that serious dirt, the roll tech will mess everyone up…actually wait no, everything’s been figured out!

Not sure who would willingly roll at someone who is in perfect position to throw you out of it.

In more seriousness, her backdash is too fast to react to. In the part where I do the setup with forward throw and st.LK whiff, they should have about 20~23f to let go of the forward direction to prevent themselves from roll (and she doesn’t even start moving for the first few frames of backdash). It is also possible to delay st.LK whiff a little bit, which makes reacting to it even more difficult. Of course, they won’t roll if I don’t do setup and just stay at the throwable range, then again I can jump instead.

It’s a matter of risk/reward. You can go for a guaranteed small damage or a big possible damage. Some guy might try to roll thinking it won’t kill him anyways when he has around 400 health left, and the setup may prove to be useful. I know I’ll be trying it in real matches when I get the chance :slight_smile:

It felt great to get a chance to play this game with some real competition. Ggs to Roknin and everyone else I had the privilege to play. Hwo/Bob is coming along nicely

She can still go behind you from this position lol, if you do her bnb to cr.hk ender, back dash, do her rain dance stance and hk california roll you’ll be behind your opponent when he wakes up (it works against Ryu, don’t know about bigger/smaller hitbox). I don’t know if her ex armor move is fast enough in this situation to beat 3 or 4f moves but it’s still crazy.

I mained Jin/Xiaoyu in vanilla and still play the team when I feel like it, people roll A LOT against Xiaoyu. She has so much possibilities on wake up !
If only I had the materials to make videos… Xiaoyu has a lot of tricks and is probably one of the best anchor character in the game with her oki game, free raw tag after her bnb (even from a post tag combo) and her phoenix stance moves that allows great damages when they’re tag cancelled. I miss her break dance loop (overhead - cr.hk loop = 500dmg ! that overhead was + on block too), at least you can still perform it in trials.

That’s a great setup.

Agreed, I used to want to argue with these dumb motherfuckers but they’re the same idiots that claim Capcom 3 is a good game.
