I haven’t heard a word edgewise about an actual SFxT bracket outside of me taking my setup for casuals to locals when I can get some time to go (I have to set up way in advance because of work and other things and ended up MIA locally for a while :(). I say if you really want to get it in and show the Cody/Rufus army what’s up, do it. :rock:
Being grouped with Skullgirls and Soul Calibur isn’t a bad thing at all (all good games), wouldn’t even be concerned about that.
Now if you’dve said it was grouped with Mario Kart, Smash and CoDor something…

Actually I’ll take part of that back, kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinda’. I like Brawl a lot, played it with friends a week ago after a long hiatus and holy shit I forgot how fun it is.

I just play her because her game-plan just reminds me of Oni in SF4 (only with better pokes, better ways to get in and no fireball) in the fact that once they both get in, it can be pain to get away from them again without taking massive risks. Which can lead to death due to both of their above average damage out-puts.
Also they can both zone and keep-out but it only works real well if they have the life lead.
Although, should you be in the unlikely situation of having to use her (be it through random select, messing about, giving into temptation etc.), just imagine that you are playing someone else. Me in my case I tend to imagine that I am that specific character on screen whilst I play. That’s pretty easy for me with Akuma, I can easily imagine that I am some martial artist who goes around breaking mountains and doing all of these crazy things with my bare hands but in Lili’s case…yeah it’s pretty hard for me to think I’m some spoiled, rich girl with an air of overconfidence about herself doing ‘ballet inspired acrobatics’ to knock out my opponents. Hence I just tend to apply the ‘Oni’ Logic whilst I use Lili.
Just try not to get mixed up with the character of your choosing though…it sucked once when I wanted a Tatsu to come out, only for her to spin and then cost me a match one time when I was a ‘D/D+’ rank :(.
EDIT: I also want to share a question someone called ‘BongoChimp’ posted in the ‘OUTRAGEOUS NOOBIE THREAD.’ I know the answer to some of the question but not all of it to make a good response.
‘so i was doing some testing trying to see if could make a safe jump work… but in doing so discovered that if i empty jumped the safe jump would be successful but if i tried to use a jump normal i would get hit… so my question is… Do jumping normals add landing frames to your jump??? and Is it possible to safe jump in SFXT at all??? Please help…’

Now that I’m finally B-rank, I’ve taken to committing to a backup team. Right it looks like it’ll be Lars/Ryu. My Ryu is pretty decent, but my Lars could still use some work.
I really enjoyed playing SFxT in Paris where everyone was picking gems! I got the gem-picking system down, and after that, it only takes around 20 sec to pick your gems. Also, since it was a part of the 25th ani series, all dlc gems was available too!
