just made this, it was my first time making a blank template, my original art got damaged in the process, which is why the template is a tad sloppy but i hope this helps anyone who wanted new art on this stick

Tried this template… not very happy with the outcome as the buttons didn’t line up all that well for me… however I may just be incompetent.
Either way… scanned two images of the button plate, layered them over top of one another and make a vector template in CS5. Here’s hoping no one else has to re-order their $30 artwork on my behalf.

I’ll be ordering a new artwork based around this template, I’ll let you know of any issues I run into after cutting it.

Actually it’s a combination of several things.
1.) No, there is absolutely nothing wrong with your template… The problem is absolutely the printing process I pursued. Your template is like 99% accurate actually. The printing process scaled up the entire image I uploaded, which thru off all of my proportions. I found this by actually scanning the artwork from my stick and using it to create yet another template, and compared it to the others. I will upload not only this template, but the entire PSD and instructions for creating what I call “Pandora Art” momentarily.
Here’s where I’m at, I’ve recalculated the dimensions and resubmitted the art work for printing. Upon receipt and verification, I’ll post up the PDS… but right now, I can’t be sure that everything is accurate.
Basically, the printer added .16 to the file size height and width. What I’ve done now is preemptively subtracted that .16 in the file sizes I put in making my “Gross Size” exactly what my “Image Size” in Photoshop is… i.e. the size of the template. Again, your template lines up about 99% with mines… but I want the end product to validate these findings before I release this template. Sorry for the hassle.

Unfortunately, I ruined my LED mod AND my Clear/Smoke Sanwas trying to force this print to fit. I’m certain that once the size is reconciled with the printing company, things will start shaping up as well. Thanks for the template help!
Oh wow thats actually really neat! where did u get that print done? I usually just take a flash drive to kinkos and get it printed to scale and have no issues… I have yet to design art for my pro since the character art I want I cannot find but thanks for letting me know my template was 99% accurate it was my first attempt so now I feel good about it, and also thank you for revising/testing/editing the template now we have a real good representation of a template for the stick
