Hey everyone, I’m Tex from the MADE. We’re a non-profit video game museum in Oakland, CA. We’ve been running SFV tournaments since release and we want to let the rest of the Bay Area know about our venue. We’re an all-ages venue with an event space for the tournament, plus an exhibit floor with playable consoles from the Atari to the PS2/XBOX/Gamecube generation. It’s a great space and we’re looking for someone to stop PH | Jame and his undefeated record!
Here are the details for the upcoming tournament on 4/30/2016
No age restriction.
Sign ups start at noon.
Double elim tournament starts at 2pm.
Venue fee: $5 (cash / card)
Venue fee is waived for people who bring a full setup (PS4, Dualshock 4 controller, copy of game. TV not required, but appreciated).
Tournament fee: $5 (cash ONLY)
Tournament fee goes toward the prize pool. Payout is 60 / 30 / 10 for 1st / 2nd / 3rd.
The MADE has 2 full setups in inventory, so bringing your own equipment will help ensure that the tournament will run smoothly with time for casuals / warm-up matches.
NOTE: For this event we are allowing legacy controllers, but please bring a DS4 controller to help register PS3 sticks.
For the sake of consistency, laptops with the PC version will be used for casuals only unless there is a shortage of setups.
